Personally, i dont think people should get down on themselves because of a past drug addiction or neglections. The key word is past and if its in the past it should stay there so you can proceed to and have a better future. So i agree very much with this passage on how to overcome a low self-esteem.

I'm sorry, but this video is a very thinly disguised 'advertorial' for women's health products and the medical field as a whole. I turned it off half way through in disgust.
We all know women have issues with self esteem. We don't need magazines and cream manufacturers to tell us that. What we DO need is good information on how to overcome this, especially since the media loves to tell us not only what a big problem we have with ourselves, but also how we need to be more thin/rich/ just plain MORE before we can even think of being satisfied with ourselves.

I also wasn't that impressed this page had a very prominent "Lose Weight" ad right next to it. Come on! How is that going to help any woman's self esteem?

I'd love to see a post more along the lines of tips and resources (not weight loss ads) to help start the journey. What do you reckon - can this post be updated/revised?

I really like your show on Saturdays! There was only one thing "FRIED DEVILED EGGS" my husband thought that it was a pomans way of eating, and it shouldnt have been on television!! I am in a inter-racial marriage and some of the words that he use, it just amazes me. I don't want to offend any one by that comment. Well i think your show is good and i have learned a lot of new recipes and tried them and found it to be great.I tried the fried deviled eggs and to me they were ok, but my husband would not eat them, i say why knock something and you don't know what it is like! I see that you all have a lot of fun in the kitchen and that is what makes the show work!! Enjoy your holidays and thanks for the food channel!!

Greetings Neely from Cynthia in Houston, Texas. I watched your show with my mom last week and it was great. You guys display positive black love. I really appreciate your energy and most of all the food recipes.
I tried your seafood creole a couple of weeks ago and it was a hit. Mrs. Neely you mentioned you had a few brother-in laws who were single. Can you send one my way? A good man(Boaz) is really hard to find (smile). Be blessed and keep up the great work, you are an inspiration to us all. Look forward to the Thanksgiving show on Friday.

We really enjoy your show. The food looks absolutely delicious. I love to see you two together. The love & adoration you have for each other really shows.

As much as you all are around food, I am sure you both exercise a lot.

I am interested in the recipe for the Caramel Pecan Pound Cake that was featured on one of your shows. The guy make it from scratch & it looked so good. I would love to make one.

Saw your show for the first time on Saturday 10/25/08. You had a receipt for the fried chicken and also for the fried devil eggs.
Where can I get these receipes?
