Kettering University is #1 in America’s Best Colleges guide for 2008. Kettering has the top ranking for Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering. It also has ranked as the #1 University in the nation for Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering in US News and World Report’s annualĀ  Guide for 2008. Its engineering co-op programs are very popular because of their uniqueness. They place students in companies in their freshman year and rotate them between school and their co-op job alternating every 3 months to gain practical experience from the beginning of their Kettering education. Kettering University’s industrial engineering programs is among the best in the country.
